Brent and Jenn's wedding at Vizcarra Vinyard

Brent and Jenn said, "I do" under an arbor in a vineyard.  Beautiful!

A little emotion before the bride leaves her house.

Natural beauty

Brent had the idea for this image.  So fun!

We had lots of opportunities for great shots in the vineyard.  :)

I wish my grapes grew like this!

The bride and groom danced to the groom's brother's serenade.  Sweet!

Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyard is about a mile from my house.  I was so excited to photograph a wedding "right in my own backyard!"  Thank you, Brent and Jenn for letting us play such a key role in your big day!

Mike and Cathy and the Tonawanda Castle!

Mike and Cathy's wedding, complete with the adoring groom, the smiling bride, and beautiful special touches, was a night to be remembered!  It was one of those times when I think, "I LOVE MY JOB!!"

Her Dad escorted her down the aisle.  I love this shot where they seem to be sharing a little secret.

The kiss and the celebrating priest!

A kiss walking back down the aisle.

We took pictures by the canal in North Tonawanda.  I love how Mike gets very real reactions out of Cathy.

The castle was beautifully decorated!  Cathy pulled out all of the stops.  I asked one of the bartenders if it always looks this beautiful for weddings.  She said, "It always looks good.  But this is exceptional!"  Way to go, Mike and Cathy!

The castle used to be an armory.  This was taken in the Captain's room.

I love that monogram!

It was a special night for everyone who attended.  Thank you, Mike and Cathy, for giving us the privilege of being there!

Kotecki's on a Saturday afternoon

Patrick and Brittany's wedding was full of beautiful moments.  Held at Kotecki's, it rained on their wedding day.  But, they were so awesome through it all!  This was so much fun!

The girls got started with a little toast.

Brittany was a great sport about the weather.  In fact, one of my favorite photos is of her in the rain.

And, not to be out-done, the groom arrives in full glory!

The ceremony was held inside, under Kotecki's gazebo.

Patrick and Brittany are so very cool!  On her way back down the aisle, she had to celebrate.

Kevin takes these fun photos while I'm taking the posed photos.  LOVE them!

The bridal party broke out their shades.

This is one of my favorite cake-feeding photos of all time!

Patrick was amazing on the dance floor!

With all this encouragement, how could he resist doing the "worm"?

SO MUCH FUN!!  Thank you, Patrick and Brittany for including us in your wonderful day!

Breathtaking, anyone?

As Kevin and I were on our way to Sascha and Karen's wedding, I read aloud from their contract, "Please write down a few words that describe the styles or feelings that you are looking for in your photos."  To which they had replied (among other things), "breathtaking."  Now, I am ALWAYS nervous on my way to a wedding.  But, on their particular wedding day, the wind was blowing like crazy and rain was forecasted.  Add to this her desire for "breathtaking" photos.  The pressure was on.  I did what I know to do.  I prayed.  And, wow!  Did God deliver!

Our first stop was the hotel where the girls were getting ready.

From there, we picked up the guys.  And. . . . . .  brace yourself.  She got her "breathtaking!"

Their wedding cake had real gold on it!

Karen is a very talented aesthetician.  Her eye for details could be seen all around the room.

I love this photo because you can see Karen's beautiful expectation.  Surrounding her are 3 bridesmaids who cried through most of the ceremony.  :)

Kevin captured some stellar images of the toasts!

The bride and groom's first dance was mmmmmm, mmmmmm good!

I'm really proud of this shot of the groom dancing with his mom, and the bride watching in the background.

Sascha and Karen, I hope you got your breathtaking!  All of the images will be available here by the end of next week.  Enjoy!!

Jimmy and Jess's Wedding Preview!

Jimmy and Jess had one of the last warm days of the summer for their beautiful, farm-themed wedding.

Here they are at the altar.

This is Jess's Great-grandma waiting to toss birdseed on the new couple.

The bride and groom were showered with birdseed as they they walked to their limo.  (It got EVERYWHERE!)

Celebrating afterward!

Check out that tractor above the dance floor!

The flowergirl and her mom dancing.

Fun on the dance floor!

Jimmy and Jess, I hope you had as much fun on your day as we had photographing it!
