Todd and Jen's engagement images!

Todd and Jen met me at Olcott for an ultra-fun engagement portrait session.

As soon as Jen stepped out of the truck in this cute little dress and chunky high heels, I knew we were going to have fun!  And, then, they started posing!  These two are naturals!

Then, things started to heat up a bit.  YOWWWWW!

O.K., really, how CUTE are they??!

Todd found a more interesting view than the lake.  :)

A quick outfit-change and we were off taking more amazing images.

Then, we found this cool background for our last set of images!

Todd and Jen, I had so much fun!  You guys were awesome!  I hope you love your images as much as I loved taking them.  -Jennifer

Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. Dale Powers

When I first met Dale and Donna, I fell in love with the beauty of their journey toward each other.  And, I really wanted to photograph their wedding!  This past Saturday, I did.

Donna, coming down the stairs at home.

Their children played or sang special music before the ceremony started.  This is Dale (on the right) peeking at them.

This is Dale's son, singing before the ceremony.

Both families lit the unity candle together.

The ceremony was held at St. Mary's in Lockport, NY.

Look at this entrance!  I had to have a picture!

We went down to a little-known park beside the Erie Canal for some in-between photos.

Dale and Donna hosted the reception, themselves, at their home.  As we were arriving, this ice cream truck was driving by.  Donna asked Dale for an ice cream.  (So cute!)

Donna surprised Dale with a bag-piper at the end of the evening.  He was thrilled!

Dale's niece (in yellow) was brought out of the pool to do an impromptu Irish dance for the newlyweds.  (She's really good!)

After that, the dance floor was open.  Some guests couldn't resist!

Dale and Donna, it was such a pleasure to be part of your day.  Thank you for asking us!

Daniel and Tammy are married!

Daniel, Tammy, and I had so much fun making their engagement images and I was really looking forward to their wedding!  (It didn't disappoint!)  Their day started out rainy.  But, it was a welcome break from the 90-plus temperatures and high humidity that we had been having.  So, without further ado . . . their day.

Having fun with their adorable flower girl!

Rain, rain, go away.  (By the time we went to take group photos, it DID go away!)

This is Kevin's fun shot of the guys.

Tammy, almost ready to go.  The ceremony was set for 3 o'clock.

This is Kevin's shot just before she walked up the aisle.  I love the emotion here.

"I Do"

Looking into the back of the limo.

There are a couple of immense fountains at Samuel's Grande Manor.  The part they're standing on in this photo is 2 or 3 feet off the ground, and it had just quit raining.  So, I tentatively asked Tammy, "I was thinking of having you get up on this fountain, but, if you'd rather not, that's fine."  Tammy: "No problem."  And she hiked up her dress and began to climb!

Their bridal party was awesome!  We were able to get some really great shots!

As soon as they entered the reception, they had their first dance.  They were good!

The sous chef came out and did this whole fire show before dessert.

Nearly EVERYONE was on the dance floor.  It was this packed for a while!

This is the groom's mom in the middle of the circle!

And, then, it was the bride and groom's turn.

This was so much fun!  We could make an entire album of the reception!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Roy!!

Soon to be wed: Brent and Jennifer!

Meet Brent and Jennifer.  Their wedding is coming up quickly!  (Yahoo!)  We went to Olcott, NY for some fun engagement pictures.

We started out with a stroll with their Beagles.

Love the intimacy of this portrait (and how it shows off her ring!)

One of my favorites!

Enjoying that beach sunset!

Thank you, Brent and Jenn for coming out on one of the hottest days of the year to take your engagement photos!  I'm looking forward to your wedding (and hopefully, it will be cooler, lol!)

Patrick and Brittany: "She said YES!"

We took Patrick and Brittany's pics on one of the hottest days of the year!  For this, we went for a walk in the woods.  Enjoy!

I was loving the light under this huge oak tree.  They're actually sitting on a limb that fell from it.

A snuggle leaning on the oak.

Patrick, getting center stage!

Beautiful sunburst over the bridge.

Her ring is beautiful!  The sides are scalloped and studded with diamonds.

This is Brittany's impromptu kiss on Patrick's cheek.  So sweet!

Just another couple of months until their wedding day!  Yay!

Ava with Mommy and Daddy

When Kristine contacted me about photographing her six-month-old baby and her husband, home from Afghanistan on R&R, I was honored.  Michael hadn't seen his daughter since just after her birth.  He was home for only 2 weeks, and then had to return.  Professional photographs of her daughter and her husband were very important to her.  My goal was to show their relationship, not just their smiles.

When I first saw little Ava, I was taken by her beauty.  She has amazing baby blue eyes.  WOW!

With Mommy and Daddy

From the whole session, I think this is my favorite.  Daddy was holding her up in the air making bubble sounds with his mouth, and she was loving it!

I put their wedding rings on her toe and she was completely intrigued!  As only a baby can, she kept bending in half to suck on them.  :)

Baby Ava, God bless YOU!!
